Our Story

Started by Yasar Hanif

From Your First Enquiry to Professional Installation

Apex Blinds & Shutters was founded by Yasar Hanif, bringing over 20 years of experience in the blinds industry to homeowners across Nelson, Burnley, Colne and the surrounding areas.

After years of measuring and fitting blinds for other companies, Yasar saw too many homeowners being given the wrong advice, rushed through the buying process or left with poorly fitted blinds that didn’t stand the test of time.

He decided to do things differently.

Apex Blinds & Shutters was built around honest advice, accurate measuring, quality made-to-measure blinds and shutters, and professional fitting. Every home is different, so we take the time to understand what you need and help you choose the right solution for your windows.

Over 20 years later, that same approach remains at the heart of Apex. From your initial free home measure through to professional installation, we provide a friendly, personal service designed to make choosing your new blinds or shutters simple and stress-free.

Today, Apex Blinds & Shutters proudly serves homeowners throughout Nelson, Burnley, Colne and surrounding Lancashire areas, supplying and professionally fitting made-to-measure blinds and bespoke shutters.

20+ years of experience. Local service. Honest advice. Quality fitting.
